Baisakhi
The festival of Baisakhi is celebrated with a lot of jubilation in Springles. The students excitedly welcome the first festival of the season and sprinkle bounteous fun in the corridors of the school decorated. Students perform Bhangra and Gidda on fun dhol beats.
Raksha Bandhan
Raksha Bandhan is an auspicious occasion to cherish sibling bonds tied with the sacred thread of love and care. Fostering the traditional values associated with this festival, our students celebrate the day with unparalleled joy. The girls excitedly tie rakhis on the wrists of the boys.
Independence Day
We truly believe that instilling a feeling of patriotism in the little hearts at a tender age plays a very crucial role in creating model responsible citizens. Thus, on Independence Day, the tricolour fills the air with the majestic unfurling of the flag.
Teacher’s Day
Teaching is the mother of all professions. Teacher’s Day is a reminder of responsibilities and commitments towards shaping the future generations. It is the teacher who sees the spark in the child and turns it into a fire. Our tiny tots make cards and present them with flowers to the teachers as an expression of their gratitude and love for their dedicated service.
Janmashtami
‘Hathi Ghoda Palki, Jai Kanhaiya Lal ki!’ This is a time when Springles turns into Vrindavan and witnesses the leela of Lord Krishna. The little ones don the roles of Lord Krishna & Radha spreading a traditional vibe in the premises. They get together to for a pooja, rock the decorated cradle of ‘Laddu Gopal’ and play flutes with their unmatched cuteness.
Gandhi Jayanti
Children enjoy dressing up as Mahatma Gandhi & Kasturba Gandhi on this occasion. A tribute is paid to the pioneer of truth & non-violence. Children pray, sing songs and enact moments from the life of this great leader bringing to life his philosophy, principles and struggle.
Dussehra
The epic of Ramayana is brought alive when little children dress up as lord Rama, Laxmana, the lovely Sita, Luv-Kush, Hanuman and the demon king of Lanka, Ravana. Good triumphs over Evil and we decide to be better individuals by imbibing the teachings and the goodness of Lord Rama in our own lives.
Gurpurab
Young children of Springles fold their hands and bow their heads to celebrate in full Sikh tradition, the anniversary of the Guru’s birth. On Guru Nanak Jayanti, they attend the Path ceremony, listen to the divine kirtan and join in the Ardas, to pray for their families, their school, society & the well being of all.
Diwali
The festival of Lights brings a huge wave of excitement & joy with it. Diwali crafts, diya decoration, paper lanterns, rangoli, Diwali puja and the lighting of candles & earthen lamps bring sparkles into the eyes of the beholders.
Eid
A ‘Happy Eid’, is wished to one and all with all its love, blessings & peace.
Christmas
The very angels alight from the heavens to bless the ‘Baby Jesus’ in his crib and his mother – Mary, father – Joseph, the three wise old men, come with their gifts & offerings and the Springles garden and skating rink convert into the holy city of Jerusalem. Magically, it begins to snow and the jingle bells of Santa’s sledge can be heard as he enters the scene with a sledge full of gifts for the children, drawn by cute reindeers. Christmas cake is also relished by the kids amidst all the excitement and thrill.
Lohri
The festival of Lohri is celebrated in its true spirit! Attired in colourful Punjabi traditional dresses the children fascinate us with their ‘Punjabi Cuteness’. They dance to the dhol beats and the folk music around the bonfire, with the irresistible fragrance of fresh popcorns & groundnuts, filling the air.
Holi
Springles celebrates the festival of colours with a big splash! The tiny tots express their exhileration by applying gulaal on each other. Sweets are distributed and a ‘tikka’ is applied to the parents as well. Mutual joy & good wishes are exchanged.
Republic Day
The Republic Day of our nation is celebrated with a lot of pride. The Indian Flag is hoisted, the National Anthem is sung. Children wave their little flags dressed in tricolour clothes. Many come dressed as freedom fighters and prominent leaders of our great country. Our history and glorious past stands before us. We see our future leaders in them. Flag making activities are done, the tricolour is painted on the hands and cheeks of the young patriots, which they proudly display to their family & friends.
Mother’s Day
In the recognition and appreciation of the role of mothers in their lives, children prepare a colourful show under the able guidance of our faculty members to honour our Springles mothers and motherhood. Special competitions and games are planned and organized to make the young mothers feel ‘extra special’ on this day. Their talent and creativity is encouraged. Children prepare special cards for their dear moms as well.
Parents’ Day
One of the greatest titles in the world is to be called a parent. In their honour, a special show is organized at Harpal Tiwana Auditorium and Springles’ tiny tots flaunt their dance moves and display their many talents to mesmerize their audience. Their confidence on stage rocks!!!
Grandparents’ Day
Grandparents are God’s ‘Biggest Blessings’. Our doting grandparents await with eager eyes to see their grand children perform especially, for them. The children dance and perform with their hearts full of affection. Special games are organized to entertain and involve their dear grandees.
Annual Day
Springles Annual Day is an integral part of the school activities. Held at Harpal Tiwana Auditorium, it is an occasion of celebration, felicitation and festivity in which our tots showcase their talents through various cultural dances, skits, short speeches and other wonderful performances. The Annual Report is presented and the function is presided by many dignitaries and distinguished guests who grace this special programme.
Sports Day
Our children participate in different races & sporting events to win medals and certificates every year. This event is organized keeping in mind the importance of health and fitness in their lives. Competitive spirit is encouraged and children learn co-operation and to be part of a team. Confidence and morale is boosted and exercise is just the perfect stress buster.
Winter Fashion Show
Children love to dress up and try on different styles and looks. Giving encouragement to this penchant, we organize kiddo fashion shows. Toddler Winter Fashion was on display and our Springles kids rocked the ramp in their trendy winter apparels & accessories, stealing hearts and casting spells.
Taekwondo
Our kids learn this Korean Martial Art under the eagle eye and the expert guidance of our National Coach. Springles has proudly been hosting the ‘Taekwondo Championship for nearly a decade now, in which more than twenty schools and clubs participate every year.
Graduation Day
Springles Graduation Day is an important milestone of the academic session, when our kindergartners successfully complete their session and are ready to move on. They make us so very proud of their growth and achievements!
Rain Dance
Rain drops falling from the clouds in the sky are an absolute magic and no one can enjoy or celebrate them better than little children. Children flawnt their colourful umbrellas and pretty raincoats at school. They dance and jump for joy under the cool showers in pure delight.
